Corform is a permanent formwork system for the construction of concrete bridge decks. The system is ideally suited to civil engineering projects where the deck formwork cannot be supported from beneath with the use of props (over railway tracks for example).

  • Individual panels manufactured to meet specific project requirements
  • Panels are designed to span between beams without additional support or props
  • Non-standard profiles, skewed ends and tapered units can be supplied
  • Detailed installation drawings provided by Cordek upon request

Each Corform panel is designed and manufactured to suit the required span, concrete depth and deflection criteria for the project. Manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) with reinforced steel ribs, Corform is a non-participating formwork that stays in place after the concrete deck is poured.

Permanent, non-participating formwork for the construction of concrete bridge decks.

Each panel type is manufactured to suit the requirements of the project based upon the following criteria:

  • Clear span of the Corform panels
  • Dimensions/centres of the beams that will support the panels
  • Bridge deck reinforcement
  • Depth of concrete bridge deck
  • Minimum deflection criteria
  • Delivery, storage or lifting restrictions
