Ground Construction Limited were signed up by Hill Partnerships to build a collection of studios, one, two and three bedroom homes located just a few minutes from the newly re-opened Lea Bridge Station. The project consists of 300 dwellings spread over nine blocks ranging from five to eighteen storeys. Cordek supplied the Cellcore HX S panels, designed to protect buildings from the effects of ground heave caused by expansive soils.
Cellcore HX S is designed for use beneath reinforced concrete floor slabs to protect against the potential effects of ground heave. Cordek supplied approximately 3600m2 of Cellcore 90mm HX S 13/18 to this project, suitable for low heave potential and slab depths between 301mm to 460mm. Standard 2400mm x 1200mm sheets were supplied and cut to fit on site.
