Cordek donates Beach Hut to Scouts

This summer, Cordek created a beach hut made entirely from recycled pallets and MDF for Coventry Scout Group’s charity event. The beach hut was the main feature for their ‘On the Beach’ float entry to Allesley Festival Carnival Procession, where the theme was ‘Best of British’. 

True to British tradition, it ended up raining on the day! Despite the rain, everyone enjoyed the day, and much needed funds for local charities was raised.

Following the carnival, the beach hut is to be permanently sited between the Scout Hut and local nursery to provide a quiet space for children struggling with mental health post-COVID.
