Cordek’s CPD now includes section on recently revised BS 8485

The Cordek CPD presentation covers the areas of Ground Heave Solutions, VOC & Ground Gas Protection and Structural Fill Solutions.

As part of the VOC & Ground Gas Protection section of the presentation, we will tell you all you need to know about the recently updated BS 8485:2015, the code of practice for the design of protective measures for methane and carbon dioxide ground gases for new buildings.

The standard has been rewritten and expanded to include clearer guidance on interpreting gas monitoring data and selecting membranes, changes to gas protection scores, and many other new features, which will be covered in Cordek’s Innovative Solutions for Construction CPD.
