Radon Membrane is a high performance gas membrane, for use in applications where resistance to radon gas is required as part of either a ‘full’ or ‘basic’ radon protection system. The membrane is generally used within construction applications, predominantly within the foundation design. It can also act as a high performance DPM.
Typically used to provide combined radon and damp proofing protection to newly constructed buildings and dwellings.
For ‘basic’ radon protection the use of the Radon Membrane covering the entire footprint of the building, used in conjunction with the relevant accessories and system components should be sufficient. However if there is the requirement to provide ‘full’ radon protection, the additional use of a radon sump (please see Radon Sump Data sheet) may be required.

Note: All membrane types also provide damp proofing protection, however should there be the additional risk posed by hydrostatic water pressure, please contact a member of the Cordek Technical Team for additional advice.
